WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT NUTSHELL FARM PIGS?
Nutshell Farm pigs are Cornish Large Blacks, a centuries-old heritage breed that is slow growing. They are all born on the farm and are free to roam their entire lives free-range grazing in large family-group paddocks. The are processed at eight or nine months of age, having been fed organically throughout their lives.
And on top of that, we've grown to love their distinct personalities.
Every day is spent with daily human contact, so they are relaxed and friendly throughout their lives.
OUR BEAUTIFUL COWS
Nutshell Farm cattle enjoy the same freedom to wander and enjoy the organic and biodynamic pasture as the farm’s pigs. Certified organic and biodynamic, the small herd comprises Jersey, Gallaway and Gallaway-cross cattle.
